Waking up Nights / Sleepover
Waking night or Sleep care over means the trained carer will be awake all night to undertake any care needs that may arise. If you have care requirements at regular intervals during the night, for example you need to change position or go to the toilet every couple of hours, the carer can perform those tasks but during the rest of the time the carer can undertake domestic duties such as laundry, cleaning, etc. as necessary.
Our waking night or sleepover care is a possible solution of having someone overnight at your mum or dads to ensure if they were to wake, there is someone at hand to assist.
Our waking night assistants are experienced in dealing with people who tend to wake up at night and ensure they are kept safe in their home. Waking night assistants generally arrive around 9pm/10pm and stay awake the whole night until 7am the next morning. This ensures that customers have someone there at hand to assist them to the toilet at night or be there for any other needs where they may need support.
Our sleep-in service is more suited to customers who generally don’t tend to wake up during the night, but would like the comfort and reassurance that someone is at home with them should they ever need assistance. Like our waking night solution, sleep-in care assistants arrive at 10pm and sleepover until 7am the next morning. In this situation, sleeping facilities need to be made available.
Waking nights and sleep-ins are a popular option for customers, especially those with family that live far away or can’t be at hand within minutes should their parent wake up in the middle of the night disorientated. For more information, contact us today.
